Remember back to those thrilling days of yesteryear - the "hippy days." Remember when everyone in Sociology 101 got an A, except you! You got a D because you were naïve. You didn't realize that you were taking a course in Marxist studies. You weren't 100 percent certain that the Vietnam War was mismanaged and/or even entirely unjust? You thought Jane Fonda was a traitor. You thought your sociology professor needed a bath! Guess what: the guys that got those high grades are now tenured professors. Oh, well… Find out what they are up to now. Paul Weyrich's featured guest this week is David Horowitz, author of "The Professors, The 101 Most Dangerous Academics in America," Regnery, 2006. (Tip for today's undergrads: if you'd like to know how to change your D to an A, go to your professor, and bitterly denounce this book. Don't worry about overdoing, just pile it on. Next thing you know, you'll be admitted to Harvard law!)

This week, Rick and Vince are pleased to welcome Steve Forbes to the show. Editor-in-Chief of Forbes magazine and former presidential candidate, Mr. Forbes is the author of Flat Tax Revolution (with a foreword by Newt Gingrich), which lays out in detail the issue Forbes highlighted most in his two presidential campaigns - the proposal that we scrap our current tax code, along with the byzantine government bureaucracy that operates it, in favor of a single, simple tax rate for individuals and businesses. We will ask Mr. Forbes why he thinks such a move would provide a tremendous boost to the American economy and, in the long run, be fairer for everybody. Then, our GOPAC Leader in the Spotlight is Charles L. Copeland, State Senator from Delaware. Rick and Vince will be headed to that state this weekend for a GOPAC event, and they'll talk to Senator Copeland about his efforts to fight bureaucracy and replace it with an entrepreneurial attitude toward public affairs.
